I've found an old r100 that's got a vvc 160 in it. It runs well but the cars keyfob doesn't work, it starts and drives ok so could they have by-passed the alarm box? How can I go about fixing this, as I want central locking and the alarm to work.

If the set currently does have the alarm disabled whichbi have heard is possible using a box to generate codes i would think that it would be easy enough to sell n ecu without alarm. If a used and matched set is cheap enough i would buy that.
