Evening guys,

As you might know ive been looking for an MG diesel, went to view this today and i knew i wanted it as soon as i saw it

Its a 2005 registered Trophy SE 115 in Silver, full service history at 12k mile intervals, cam belt replaced (with proof) earlier this year, currently on 75k miles. As its a Trophy SE it gets aircon, cd changer, Trophy rear lights, 17" straights and the lovely interior The garage are putting a full MOT on it even though it has a few months left, giving it a full service (the check sheet he gave me had loads on so ill be able to check that) and comes with a 3 month warranty - which is better than a kick in the balls.

Got to go back Wednesday for a drive as the guy was on his own today so couldn't take it out, and as long as it drives like it should ill be picking it up near the end of the month...also getting a private reg to match the TF

i don't know... there isn't anything that needs modifying on a ZR unless u start to become boy racer ish.

with it being a diesel there is no point of a exhaust system. It has good alloys as it is. and pandy doesnt like window tints so i can't see what would need modifying on this ZR

Very nice ZR mate. Hope it goes well. I think little things that make the car nicer to be really are the best. For example a MGF interior mirror with lamps, MGR steering wheel radio controls and sound insulation [maybe not kind of thing] or other things that make the cabin a bit more modern and nicer. If you get what I mean.

The exterior styling on the mk2 ZR especially doesnt need much if any changing, except maybe the fog light surrounds [25s got colour coded?!].

TIdy... the right engine imo too Although the lights are original id still be tempted to get rid of them due to the mis-use of them they just look a bit chav like... all IMO! Set of ZS 180 wheels would set that off nicely

Matt already offered me some Streetwise wheels but im sure he has a spare set of ZS's, maybe next year

Thinking about rear lights, there is a really nice set that is made up of loads of LEDs and is simply white at the top and red at the bottom. Quite a few modded cars have them they are the only after market rear lights I like- Am I the only one that DOESN'T like Lexus style lights? [Apart from on Lexus's] Ill see if I can find it.

It's a ZR, it's chavvy by nature, embrace it
(having just bought a set of these lights I'm gonna be defending em!)

Sound system definitely needs upgrading, you can't stick with the standard HU and speakers (Kenwood if it's the same as mine was?)

Leave the foglight surrounds black imo, it doesn't look quite right with it fully colour coded. Apart from that everything is already styled on a Zed so not much need to make changes, only thing could be very subtle lowering but not by much.

Streetwise or ZS wheels will look the business on there... do it!!!!

Streetwise 17's will be going on this, mainly because thats the only set I'll let him have

also the streetwise suit the zr much better than the ZS 11 spokes as they are too big and bulky looking for a smallish round car.

btw, it looks good that picture still hasn't decided to download yet lol

Looks a nice motor, the wait for a decent one in the spec you wanted has paid off!

Do like the streetwise wheels are Matt says, but when I was looking at them for my 200vi they were around £300 a set on ebay!

The 115 has rear disc brakes I think?

Don't need to go as low (and definitely no white tyre wall writing) but the overall look is
