You had the rs running scared for the first few laps, the Frog's brakes are awesome compared to yours, so fair play to you sir!

I take it your car is running to metro cup regs with a 1.8 engine being the only differance?

Oh and sorry to be a knob but you need to fasten your bonnet better

Watched this last night on motors tv.
As you say was a good race until the Frog driver used you as a brake.
The commentaters were pretty impressed too, but I think they got it wrong as quoted you as having a 1.6ltr engine.

What gearbox are you using? sounds very close and maxing out on some of the straights.

Yeah he didnt like your little love tap into that right hand hairpin did he? Also noticed your vvc is getting a bit warm but then again it was spending most of its time in the high 6000 revolutions per minute

Thanks Guys ! The guy in the Frog was a frickin idiot !
Here's a multi-answer to the questions -
The car is running on hydrolastics not coilovers.
The Bonnet is so lightweight it flaps about loads, sorry cant do anything about that one !
Running a standard VVC 160 with Re-mapped ECU
The Gearbox is the R65 4.285 diff ratio, and winds up well, it was on the limiter down the straights, for silverstone we are putting a 3.9 diff in it as it would proabably detonate down the hanger straight !
Yes the bodywork isnt pretty

the boot floor has split and massive dent as well as rear wheel arch, so plenty of fettling to be done !
Silverstone on 24th June running on Michelin Slicks i can't wait !

Thats why i prefer club racing, usually alot cleaner racing imo

If i wanted to watch cars smash into each other i'd go to the banger events

you did a fantastic job, not scared of the devil's elbow! what was your best lap time, i remember dad doing a 51 with me in the passenger seat of an old alfa (rwd)
