I havnt had any practice on a whole car with my machine yet, as its not worth swirl correction in this weather - so im abit weary of tackling a car without having done my own yet, if you get me?

Not sure where Daz stands on this? I can do everything else bar correction work at the minute

I'd have thought trying it out on someone else's car would be the way to go

I know it's an old topic but what exactly is 'correction'?

Paint correction is getting the paint back to the way it was before clueless previous owners dragged the car through car washes & washed it with grit soaked sponges.

Correcting the imperfections to give a mirror finish to the paint work.. as if it had just come out the factory!

Masking isn't a question of being good or not, 'tard.

Masking protects the surrounding areas (lights, black trim, window seals etc) and edges that can be easily polluted/damaged with use of a machine.

And anyone can machine polish without 'slinging' the polish around, its really not that hard mate

any 1 can do it? maybe with a da yeah but rotary? i dnt think any 1 can but anyway if u use a good machine polish even if u do catch the rubber it should' nt be an issue with wiping it off or marking it.
