Location: Jelling, Denmark | I am currently working on removing my broken gearbox and the guy who designed the front suspension made sure that i cannot remove the gearbox with the engine in the car without getting the bottom balljoin out and it is helplessly stuck. Removing the top one isnt enough. And the cv joins cannot be compressed enough even with the top balljoin undone to allow the gearbox to slide out. What a stupid design. |

Location: Jelling, Denmark | ok. that nice to know. I didn't remove the track rod, and maybe that will give that little extra.
I have left the balljoin clamp on and maybe it will become loose during the night. if that doesn't work then I will try removing the track rod end and if this doesn't work I will try putting the drive shaft back in the box and lower it with the driveshaft in. |

drive it like its hired
| Take the lower suspension arm off at the subframe and the tie rod, it will swing out and let the shaft come out. |
