Hello All,

I'm a huge fan of Mini's (Original of course)
I've attached a couple pictures of my cars, current and old.

Me and my first mini I owned. 1000cc (sadly rotted too much sold for 150 quid I think... it was)

My Current Mini 1275cc + Straight Cut Box (though, problems with engine at the moment so its sorned really miss driving this.

My First Metro GTI 1.4 (sorry to who ever owned this before me, I kinda went into a very large curb in the wet) well drove completely over it.
this will be going on ebay soon for spares, as I dont have time to replace front subframe. (engine is still sweet though)

My Newly Owned Metro GTI 1.4 (bought off Drizz on Sunday) just found on main page, Dave? was the owner
will make a new thread about this one, as got some plans for it.

I'm very keen on Motorsport.
hence the creation of Slick Motorsport - http://www.slickmotorsport.com
the site is newly created and undergoing some changes.

so you can see some of my work here in the mean time:

any feedback, cars, sites, work.
welcome

cheers,
Cezare

Welcome to MP,

Nice mini's and metros you got there. There are some other mini owners on here already as they seem to go hand in hand.

bad luck with the H reg, but glad you got another with the M plate. pretty sure the other person you got it from only just got it themselves?

good to see if other mini owners.
I'm on the mini forum too, but not been on for months.

Yes, Drizz currently owned the M reg for 3 weeks,
going to make a new post on the metro in another section on my plans for it.

thanks for warm welcome.

Welcome

I have a Mini too - 1971 1000, standard. Had a sucession of Mpi's (including a '96 Cooper S) MED engined 1380 etc - counted them the other day and came to almost 30 over the years. Have found the whole Mini lark has got to expensive to have one as a toy now - hence the old standard car now being my one and only now, that was free as it's a family heirloom. May just be me getting old, but I find the whole Mini scene thing a bit contrived and twee for my liking now, so I tend to stay away from most shows. What other shows do you go to where people dress up, and give their cars names? Bah..!! great cars though

i was the owner of this before drizz. had it over a year and did a lot of work on it, so if you want to know anything dont hesitate to get in touch

and make sure you keep us updated on the car, and dont give it the same fate as your last one

Hey,

good too see previous owners still about.
what kind of work did you do on it? and I do hope not to repeat that incident again!

I do have some help needed, but I'll post a new thread
