That first splitter was horrible looks loads better now, not keen on the bonnet vents or 3 spokes but the rest is cool

Bit unfair that mate.
The reyland car is orange, but no-one takes the piss!
The sub-box and the front 'evo' bonnet vent are a bit tatty.
But overall, It aight!

Deffo better minus that awfull splitter

Good on ya for saving it, can see lots of work gone into it Was it originally called a Spyder GT, never heard of one of those b4?

A standard bonnet and silver wheels would look 100x better though

Would look mint with an orange bonnet without the vents.

Nice Metro! Impressed with the restoration you have done on it.

Much prefer it with the small front spliter. Not seen those white dial faces before. It might be worth you buying some GTi dails for the rev counter if your taking it on the track.

Any more pictures of your Metro at the ring?

I went to the neatherlands and didn't see any metro/100s but rovers were common over there. It didn't feel too different to the UK apart from the lack of hills

Whats the plan with the silver Mk2 GT?

i do have some from the spyder on zandvoort

of the mk2 is not much left i took it apart for spair parts.
i'm rebuilding the engien for the spyder if its done it wil make a 120bhp

i have never seen one a metro spyder gt before. the spliter isnt to my taste at all, would look mint if you got hold of a turbo kit and turbo engine, would be spot on!!

Its the only spyder gt in the world. spyder gt is just a nick name. I would love a turbo engine for it but they are a bit hart to get ovet here. i hope to instal the fase one parst very soon.
I did some modding today as well
think some of you like to hear i'm working on a other bonet. a clean one whit only te same front as the one thats on the metro now.
i also instalt a new stering wheel and some LED

So, lets blow some dust of this old tpoic, becouse yes, the metro is stil alive and driving.
There is also don a huge amound of work on the car. So sit back, and enjoy watching

The the terible thing happent. the gearbox broke down. So, time for a new box, and wile were at it, a new engine as well.

Some work on the engine bay done
[img][/img]
new engine

And then.. there whas tis... (and a lot af it)

whit my old coup

time fore some welding

yup, rust al the way round

These are not even half the welding pics btw
bye bye rain gutter

stripping and sanding

original RGA design frond bumper

some work done

time to ad some paint

neuw carpet

coupe seats (rear and frond)

bit of carbon fiber

Still whit the old bonned

Time for some new wheels

Some carbon fiber look a like mirros

A custom MG TF rear view mirror

(small eddit: Yes, it looks realy nice, but it blocks a lot of your view )

powerd windows

the dashboard back in

New wheels and bonned (and my 45)

I used the old clock for the window controls.

some tunes

New brake and suspension setup
Rover GTi shoks
Brembo discks
EBC Greenstuf breakpads inside the AP 4pod brakes

Some badges, numberplates, mudflaps and a cheap ass towstrap (as i cant use the original)

Found a bether looking tow hook (and a bid more trustfull than the strap)

As it is on this verry day (yes i made the pics today)

So, as you can se, there is a lot done (in a time span of over 3 years), and still a lot to doy.
the engine is leaking cooliant and oil, and the the break fluid resevor needs to be replaced (long story)
the wheel realy need some tlc, and the new rooftop needs a lot of work as wel.
I also want some decals on the car.
But it has mot, and i can drive in it on nice sunny days like today, so im verry happy whit it.

P.s. Sorry for the crappy English here and there.
