| Hello all
I’ve been registered on the forum for a little while now waiting for the right time to ask a few questions and hopefully extend my knowledge of the R100/metros.
I’ve been looking around for an ideal candidate for a metro vvc conversion and at the right price too
I love the look of the GTA metro/R100 but I’m struggling to find an MPI version for an easy conversion??
I was speaking to a nice guy at a local car show in newton abbot a few months ago and it’s inspired me to sell one of my motorbikes and finally get a quick metro!!
So. . . is it a pain in the bum to convert an older SPI metro GTA to a VVC engine???
Bear in mind I had an accident a few years ago with a few household chemicals and now my juggling days are over
Also is there a company or anybody in the southwest (Plymouth ish ) with a vvc metro that could possibly help with advise/build etc.?? Beer tokens and gold coins are available
Many thanks
Josh

| Hello again
Cheers for all the replies
Well I’ve finally sorted a rover 114 gta mpi aaaaannnnnnnndddddd the head gasket's gone
Loads of mayo in the header tank used some k-seal and seems to have temporally sorted the leak out until I can sort out a vvc engine.
Anyways here’s a couple of pics ( if it works anyways )

Location: Bromley, Kent | Looks like a nice buy! Waxoyl it loads, the later ones seemed to get less factory cavity wax and rust more. |
