Thanks m8, it's coming together nicely now

@Mutts... this is what I'm good at hehe, trod on those chrome surrounds down the scrappy a few years back and realised they're the same fit as tro ones. I've posted what they're from once before but seeing as it's nearly Easter I reckon you should go hunting for it like an Easter egg

Halfords 2for1 offer on atm means that the car has just been bought a collection of beauty products
This little lot, RRP around £52 for £28... happy days!

Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo (just finished my first big bottle that I've had since 2010 lol)
Meguiars Endurance Tyre Gel (coming to the end of that as well)
Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine 1L bottle (moving to this instead of Super Resin Polish now)
Autoglym Bumper Care (running out of this and it's good for rubber seals, wiper arms etc)

Going back tomorrow to get...

Meguiars Ultimate Compound
Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detail spray

also ordering from eBay...

Liquid Leather cleaner
Liquid Leather conditioner

Going to try and do the outside of the car tomorrow... method going to be...

- 2 bucket wash with Megs Gold Class
- dry off
- apply Megs Ultimate Compound on bonnet and roof
- polish with AutoGlym Ultra Deep Shine
- seal with AutoGlym Extra Gloss Protection
- wax with DoDo Juice Orange Crush
- detail black plastics and rubber with AutoGlym Bumper Care
- polish chrome handles with Megs NXT All Metal Polysh
- detail up tyres with Megs Endurance Tyre Shine
- seal alloys with Poorboys Wheel Sealant
- clean glass with AutoGlym Car Glass Polish

Then when the leather cleaner comes in...

- hoover interior (already done)
- clean dash and plastics with AutoGlym Vinyl and Rubber Trim Care
- clean leather with Liquid Leather cleaner
- condition leather with Liquid Leather conditioner
- install new Magic Tree

Then hope dust doesn't land on it in the meantime untilPoL

8 hours and aching arms later...

Just need to do the rubber seals, window glass etc but the outside should only need a quick spray with Quick Detailer once it gets to the show.

This is why I'm not sure about the splitter... I reckon it'll be scraping the floor the moment I go near speedbumps, driveways etc...

I'll have to grit my teeth and smile at that comment (need to be nice to Miller until I get my ZR door off him at PoL )

And besides, it's now tucked up in the garage so unless pigeons can undo locks I'm OK

After yesterday I have a new shopping list

- Xsara headlamp washers
- stainless backbox
- anti roll bars and polybushes
- smooth rear wiper (Frog is it?)

On reflection the to-do list from the previous pages was very fitting, was very proud of the tro yesterday, drove like a dream and cleans up pretty well

Xsara windscreen jets or headlight washers?

Smooth rear wiper is from a mk1 Renault Frog.

Did I really type headlamp washers lol

Saying that I watched the convoy vid and don't remember flashing my headlights at the camera car either, must be getting old

Did I miss anything from that list David?

Wow have I really not updated this in over a year

Not too many changes now as the bulk of the work is done, just little tweaks here and there:

- retrimmed A-pillar trims in grey alcantara
- upgraded sub to a JL 10W3v2 (loud!)

Best SHINNY so far with the aid of Zaino and a few other goodies before PoL

Won a couple of show prizes with it in the last year, most recent being Best Modified Rover at MG Saloon Day 2013
