Evening all! Joined up this afternoon as I'm after some info!

Bought a GTa last weekend as a bit of a stop gap whilst I get some other bits sorted out. It's a 1995, 1.1 with only 55,000 miles. Really good condition inside with recent new arches and respray!

Couple of bits I need to sort but nothing much. When should the timing belt be done on these? I have no history other than MOTs and it's 1120cc 8v
I'm after a new cap for my expansion tank, are these the same as MPi minis?

Oh annnnd, does anyone produce the GTa decals? Or have a high res photo I could use to get some made from?!

Thankssss

Cool! Just noticed the orange mk1 Austin in the photo too. Have a look in the events section for 'PoL' / largest metro convoy #2

It takes place this Saturday and is best Metro meet of the year. Be great if you could get your GTa and maybe even the MG there!

Anything I should be looking out for in particular with this engine? What is the timing belt interval? I'm used to chains!! lol

I'd be worried if my cam belt interval was that short, 6 years or 90,000 miles is more reasonable.
