hey everyone im adam from essex. recently bought my metro in feb and been looking at doing an engine conversion. any tips of where to start?

Well all depends what metro you bought, if its carb your need to do a lot more work. But if its spi or mpi will be a lot easier

Well all depends what metro you bought, if its carb your need to do a lot more work. But if its spi or mpi will be a lot easier


Metro GS will be carb. GSi is SPi.

Have you got this interior?

Quite a bit extra work but would make a really nice car when finished.

Use the search and look at old threads about Carb to MPi conversion.

ive had a look doesnt seem like to much extra really. if ive got all the parts and everythings goes on ok. how long would it take to fit and get running?

You'll need to gut the interior to bare and re lay a MPi dash/ body loom. You'll need a MPi 96> 114GSi loom as you have all the electric windows etc...
