I still managed to get a 12.8 out of it as did Daz. It will do a low 12 if he had more time to tame the animal

Nope, I wouldent say they done me any favors though, they was not as good as I thought They track slicks or proper drag ones? The track ones will have a stiff sidewall and not give any great advantages.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 592 Location: kent | Ed Norton - 23/5/2013 10:46 PM That vid is awesome . Well done on the time as well! It looks like an animal. What spec is the engine?!? thanks not bad for an old metro eh lol the engine was made up by roverdose (drew), and finished to the spec it is today by djwilmer, what consists of a DKE 82mm crank, Arrow 133.1mm rods and Accralite 22.4mm pistons with 8.5cc dome. works out iro 8.5:1c/r. and 1449cc The rods are unique design specially made by arrow, they are small journal (ala 1.4) but 1.8 rod length. Ported head by scholar engines, Paul Ivey 29.5 inlet, 26mm exhaust valves, Piper double springs, piper Ti caps, std hydraulic lifters, 270h cams, adjustable pulleys, turbo is a gt2560r through a 3" custom exhaust and cooled by the pwr avt chargecooler all run by the omex 600 ecu it should be running at the 300 bhp mark...but as it stands the most its made is 292.8 bhp (in dylans car)

Veteran Posts: 310 Location: nr Evesham Worcs | Damn, that is one hell of an engine spec! Damp liner or wet liner 1.4? Best sounding k i've heard as well Not at all bad for a little metro I would love to see the look on peoples faces when dropping a time like that against them. Well worth the engine cost i would imagine!

Extreme Veteran Posts: 592 Location: kent | Its a damp liner, worth every penny when you put your foot down, the recording of its sound don't do it justice imo sounds 10x better in the flesh
