Location: Up in the lakes | What condition is the door seal in? Have you tried pouring water over the car to source where its leaking?
If i was you id rip up the carpets asap and see what condition the floors are in. Rip the sound deadening out and hang the carpets to dry.
Edit, for future reference you'd be better off posting posts like this in the technical section.

Location: Dudley, Midlands | Top front corner of the door not against the seal!?
My last 2 did the same thing with mint seals.
I wound window down, and 'encouraged' door top back in a bit.
Mine showed up several leaks when I had it washed pre-POL!!

Location: Gloucester | TBH this is a design fault with ALL metros/100s.
All the water from the roof gutter goes down the window A-pilar and some of it comes into the cabin as the door seals are 100% water tight.
It then trickles between the carpet and the car body and the floors are always wet under a bone dry carpet rustying the floors out and your never know!
Dirty door seals and window frames doesn't help allowing more water to pass. Best to keep under cover to avoid water getting in, ie garage or car port if posible.
