There are several things involved, and it has been covered many times so try searching. But i believe its something like a mgf subframe with gearbox arms and driveshafts and a shortened gearlinkage from a rover 200 and a freelander flywheel amd clutch. And probably other stuff aswell.

I don't know why people go vvc to make metros quicker only to fit a shit PG1 that will slow it's acceleration down.
Don't bother, fit it in the bin
You can either fit a mgf subframe after grinding a few bits off, or you can use the metros subframe with a sump mount welded on, but easier to use the mgf subby. Mgf driveshafts, Ralphs engine spacers to shift the engine forward a few mil, modified gear linkage from a R200 or any PG1 motor but believe some are thicker? Cut shorter then welded back together. Mgf gearbox mount and clutch cable bracket from a coupe turbo etc.. Doesn't have to be a freelander flywheel, can use any PG1 flywheel from a 1.8 ZR MGF ETC but the freelanders flywheel can use a slighter larger turbo clutch
