....to chop the front end off a tro and weld it onto another one??
my mate has a front end damaged turbo and also has a tidyish 5door gs.he has already cut off the front end of the gs from the middle of the arch.
he is thinking of weling it to the turbo but overlapping a bit of the front to give it more strenght.
wat would be the problems if there are any.
cheers

That is called a cut and shut in my book, we had a m3 in the other week that had been done like that, the back end had been cut behind the rear quarter window and across the floor, the metal had been turned up at both ends on the floor and stitched together, if you ever had a bad crash it wouldnt of been safe.

Ill buy the car, any pics?

its not for sale as far as i know.i did suggest you to him but he loves it soooo much.im sure you know how much.
he bought it absolutly mint and crashed it about 3months later.aint been driven since and that was the start of LAST winter.so its been sat for two cold winters.it has slight rust on floor pan but not too bad.front is the worst bit.outer body is very clean.
