Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne | I have a Rover 100 Knightsbridge and looking to convert it to either a 1.6 or 1.8. I can't seem to find a definative list of other Rover model's that I ccould buy and are plug and play for the engine. No new subframe etc just drop the new engine in or neastest possible. Any help would be appreciated.

Location: Germany | You'll find solid cam 1.6 or 1.8 K-series engines in:MGF, bubble shape Rover 216 or 218 , Rover 416, Lotus Elise and others.
You'll need MEMS 1.9 engine management for direct "drop&drive", if yours is a MPI.
MEMS3 engines and VVCs from MGF / TF, Mg ZR 120/160, 200vi, Rover 75, 45, ... will also fit, but will require either a different, modified loom or need to be converted to run MEMS 1.9 ( in case of solid cam engines. Not possible for the VVCs). |

| You dont even need a donor car!
You need an engine, with manifolds.
And an ecu set. |
