As some of you know I'm half way through building a vvc metro.. I've pulled the turbo out that was bodged in and replaced it with a vvc from a previous metro. Started it up and it cracked up in a reasonable anoint of time considering it's been stood for years.. I had to bleed the fuel through because the filter was full of air and change the crank sensor because there was no spark and also changed the plugs because they got a nice bath of petrol when there was no spark! Now when I start it up it cracks up first turn and ticks over with the wierd noisy fashion of a vvc.. when I try to drive it it has a misfire, not a full blown stops review one just kinda like it's pinking. Can anyone give me any pointers before I go over everything? I think I will pull a plug tonight but it's not been used enough to indicate a problem on the plug I don't think, they are probably still shiney! Anyone come across this before? I'm thinking it might be a weak pump or something because it does it under load. The bloke who I got it off said it's had a walbro fitted but I don't know what to make of it. Thanks in advance!

It was old but it was very empty so I've added 5 litre of super unleaded. Maybe the fuel in the pump lines and filter was old? I don't know..
