Pretty good if you want to rebuild a k series from bottom up and even shows the best way to fit engine into a metro without
removing shafts

do you not clamp down the liners on the older type wet liner, the guy turns the engine over without cylinder clamps

Early ones seem to stay in place, it's the later damp liners which tend to move if u spin the bottom end. I think the old wet liner engine
Is the best for strength, shame they didn't keep the same design for the later 1.6/1.8

Didn't they have angle gauges back then? Tightening the head down with their instructions seems a bit hit or miss to me!

I seldom use angle gauges, find they're a pain generally and can cause more problems than they solve. Nothing wrong with physically marking the bolt heads.
