my bad I thought the clutch went with the engine, but it was dead?

still the best ive used was the helix, but it is very heavy. although I heard good things about the kestral it didn't seem to suit Dylan.

Techniclutch have plenty of bad reviews.

You're best off spending good money on a Helix of ACT etc.

Does anyone know if the PG1 clutches are the same as Honda clutches? This opens up your options massively, you can buy well tested and reasonably priced clutch and be done with it. The choice is massive

Haven't udated in a while, new plans for susan, I will be taking the 1.4t out and replacing it with a 160vvc out of a mg zr,

Once I do put the 160vvc in I 'may' sell for the right price...

Shall upload a few pictures during the swap

quick update for susan...

shes no longer the 1.4t beast she used to be, thats all out now and getting ready to go into the austin, instead i have a mg zr 160vvc from my mums mg zr, just done the cambelt and a quick polish up and its mint now!

heres a few pictures of the progress

taking the 1.4t out

the 160vvc engine, with the adrian_si loom conversion.

new cambelt

the engine bay, bit cleaner now.

waxoyling the underside

waxoyl all done

well thats all, may try getting the engine in tomorrow.

by the way, this lovely little metro will be for sale once the sun comes, so start saving your pennys people!!!

It is mate, done all the welding when I first got it and kept it painted and waxoyled ever since, it's the best shell I have had, it's got a few little bits that only an ocd person would care about.

Done a few little bits, we have mounted the engine, plumbed and wired in now, cleaning it as we go

Also made a heat shield for the exhaust
