I found some more on the drivers front chassis leg the rest of the floor pan is solid had a good poke around, the outer sills are solid as is the rear valence. I just hope it doesn't get any worse once start cutting out the rot as I've spent a lot of money on it recently

Feel your pain - the areas you've marked are pretty much identical to the rot we had to fix on ours (after thinking it was mint).

Is the sandwiched / stiffener sections in the floor OK? Ours were rotten from the sill in along the seam. Rear inner and outer sills also backing onto the arch.

As a positive though - nothing you've posted there looks unfixable.

they all rot in these areas because of the location of the sunroof drains they exit in these places

its much easyer to cut all the rust out, this is the last sunroof metro I will own, I will be updating my journal soon with pics of the outer sill work an work on the front chassis legs

Metrobruce do you wanna come and weld mine up?

Mines a non sunroof model so nothing do with drain points just old age.

I would love to I am about 110 miles north of you tho and I am in the middle of a body repair course that I am being fast tracked through, on top of that I have decided to turbo my diesel metro and found an unbelievable amount of welding, I should have learned from my past metro, this one looked tidy. have a look at my build journal it looks like a nice starting point lol
