Regular Posts: 118 Location: Warwickshire | Right im new to metro power And new to the metros This is my metro and what I can gather it has Metro British racing green mk3 1993 1.8 143bhp engine dont know what box Vvc inlet 52mm tb Front & rear ab Gti clocks and interior Hid's ( hate them!! ) Got tols it had a race exhust manifold Was told it had bigger brakes but on my other threads was tokd they where not My plans R100 bumpers R100 bonnet R100 grill and lights Cold air feed to vent on bonet Red engine covers pipes Mgf rad Mgf caliper Mgf vented discs ( neeed info on what to go for discs and pads ) Better wheels (need info ) Mg zr steering wheel (need info ) Flocking dash ( whats people think ) Alot more cant think | ||

Veteran Posts: 310 Location: nr Evesham Worcs | I think flocked dash's look good (really good with a stripped out interior). As for brakes it depends on how you drive and what you intend on using the car for..... Some pics would be good as well. | ||

Expert Posts: 2568 Location: Up in the lakes | Mgf steering geometry is what you need then. Tre's, steering arms and bottom balljoints tracked up to iirc 30 minutes out does the trick nicely. Feels planted at high speeds. (strickly private roads) | ||

formerly p319 hok Posts: 1965 Location: Under a car somewhere | get it lowered properly, get mgf bottom balljoints, make sure your radius arms are in good nick and well greased, check yoursuspension bushes and change to polybushes where possible | ||

Regular Posts: 118 Location: Warwickshire | cheers for the reply's i need it lowering dose anyone know how much this would cost as i dont have a pump and thats another problem i think my radius arm bearings are shott as the rear drivers side wheel sits really funny , only driver side rear though | ||
