Hi all, I'm looking to fit a push button starter with toggle switch to my GTi track car. has anyone got a decent wiring diagram I can follow or tell me the easiest way to do it please.

Thanks, Terry

May well struggle to find a wiring diagram (well, wire colours at least)...
as it would basically be a "How To Hot-wire A Metro" guide!?!
Will you be leaving the ignition in place for key requirement and steering lock to prevent theft?
Will that be removed and a key switch in the panel with ignition switch and start button?
The easiest way is not to bother... hassle will be involved any way you do it...
so either forget the idea, or sketch it up exactly as you want it and go from there!?

Steering lock is already removed..has to be for track regulations...I have a main kill switch, I want a toggle switch to arm the ignition, then a push button starter to fire it up.

A lot of other cars have them on track and looks cool, I may see if I can contact one of them for a diagram or advice.
