Just saying hi - new member in Northern Ireland, learnt to drive in a Metro and 100 and nostalgia has made my brother and I buy a 100 Kensington as a rally project....(not sure if we're wise!)

We've been rallying (navigation rallies, endurance rallies and lanes events / multi venue autotests) for the last 3 years in a Toyota Starlet, but decided we wanted some originality as that scene is coming down with Jap metal, though probably for good reason. Always remembered the old Caribbean being a hoot when I was 17 so we took the plunge.

Short term the plan is to source a VVC MGF and a PG1 and drop that in including as many other upgraded bits as we can get from the donor (from another thread am assuming cans, brakes, steering rack / hubs / arms etc...)

There'll be lots of technical questions from us in terms of getting the right setup for what we need - basically low top speed and as much acceleration and traction as we can get.

Looking forward to getting stuck in - if anyone knows of a cheap F VVC going that doesn't need trailered let me know!
