My girl friends dad uses a website to get his radio codes I'll try find out what site as its handy
But it worked on my Citroen n her dads BMW

2 old ones i have have it right side AR
and left side Phillips - pressed into casing.

You can disable the code so you can disconnect the battery, cant see
anybody wanting to nick a rover cassette radio nowadays, no market for them.
iirc, to disable, you press up tune button whilst turning on, then the
code dots appear, you then input the code as normal, on the last code
input, the unit will beep, then its done, no code req.
Done this to my trackday R100 as its on a master switch to the battery.

good advice, i've done this too,
the -C- doesn't show if the code function has been deactivated.
