Elite Veteran Posts: 763 | just purchased some mgtf subframes, one for the front and one for the rear, the plan is to run the the tf front subframe in the front as I dont need the pg1 mounting. the rear subframe is going narrowed to the metro rear track and have have the front bottom arms with front hubs and track control arms to alter the bump steer and the rear tow. I am in the middle of taking some good pics of the floorpan work, once the body is back roling on its wheels then I will turn my attention to the brakes and engine

Elite Veteran Posts: 763 | the final wheel and tyre size is going to be 16" hairpins off of a zr with 205 50 16 tyres, this should give me a better spread of gear ratios when I turbo the engine along with over 10mph to my top speed. am going to go for an unusual look with this car incorporating a safari rally inspired bulbar and snokle Edited by metrobruce 22/11/2013 11:24 PM

Elite Veteran Posts: 763 | Paul r - 23/11/2013 10:54 AM Why not twin enginw 4wd? Double derv twin lsd's, two turbos and use it as a genuine off roader? the reason being is that I have a child so the car has to have a third seat for him, the roll cage is incorporating a double roll loop to protect him aswell but what it does leave me with is the option to go 4wd in the future with somthing like evo running gear. I have been undecided on narrowing the subframe too as if i was to leave it standard width using mgzr 16" hairpin alloys with pcd converters on the front and redrill the hubs on the rear it will keep the front and rear track and the steering geometry somthing like and the big tyres will give me top end speed.
