looks like a nice car. with the risk of offending someone, the person that wrote that text should seek employment elsewhere.

dickheads with money, which apparently acts as some kind of bullshit antidote for anyone reading it, and makes it ok

It should be called prick heads that site they all think they know it all and have had every performance car thats been made but drive a 318 bmw and done up like an m3 but say its an inbetween car ive had some right row ups on there ive not been on here for long and was sceptical due to the other forums full of idiots but ive found everyone pleasant and good to chat too and theres no one up manship or boasting or people making fun of the less fortunate that cant afford all the latest stuff and improvise by making things and salvaging stuff and they are the people who are pationate about there cars and feel achievement for making things work so fair play .

I agree with that entirely. I dont own a metro anymore (would if I could!) but I still come back and use this forum as its one of the best ones out there as people can have a decent discussion or ask questions without the immaturity, misinformation and brand snobbery that you find so often on other car forums

Unless you own a 30K+ car they all think its a heap of junk
guarantee the more hands on folk on here will know loooaaads more actual worthwhile knowledge than they ever will who have probably never touched a spanner in their life

Just reading the new shed of the week now - £1000 unreliable Rx8 with hot start engine problems so it'll need a £2/3k rebuild but on pistonheads thats just fine and dandy as its japanese and awesome. Apparently.

The thing is tho most of the people dont have decent cars they make out they do ive got a tvr cerbera and theres quite a few forum goers on piston heads that think they know it all and a topic came up where a guy was fitting an ls1 v8 out of a corvette or similar to it and he had a prob that the exhaust after the header as it went in to 1 was hitting the ladder chassis so someone said flatten the tubes a bit to gain clearance everyone said yeah that way you get more clearance and get the same flow !!!! Lol i had to laugh so i puty five penies worrh un and said if u flatten round tube after u flatten by half inch any more and u lose flow and they all started going no it wont cos the volume is the same i said i think u will find its not its like if u hit your exhaust on a speed hump and flatten it almost nothing gos through thats how thick and un technical they are .
