There are 2 types in the Rover Metro, different layout of internal wiring and relays, if you need a new one just make sure that you get exactly the same layout, otherwise you will have to do some wiring alterations to get everything working correctly.

The fuseboxes in the metro and r100 are NOT the same

sticker.

Hi Dave

Get the DMM out and ring them out like I did.
They look different but are the same configuration.

I have put a R100 fuse box in my metro and haven't had any problems since.

Thanks Alex for the back up!!

Hi Dave and Matt - those fuseboxs are interchangeable.

I have done a lot of research here.

I rang out a GSI vehicle harness in my lounge (on two old curtains) and then drew it in AutoCad.

I then rang out the R100 fuse box and drew that up.

Also checked fuse ratings etc and their individual ccts.

Then when I scraped the first GTI I checked that fusebox and more importantly the vehicle harness
against the info gained from the GSI and all fell into place.

Fusebox pic below. Fuzzy because of the 100k limit -- but I don't want to give
too much info away!!
