all done, but just cant get it in the spray shop
any day now, but two weeks work and a week to put it all back together.

theres a heck of a lot of prep work to do, its gone in almost as a bare shell.
by the time it comes back and its fitted out again, ill be in hospital having an opp,
so im leaving it sorn untill oct when ill have my leg back out of plaster.
boy am i going to put some miles on it then

Whatttt!? I thought you had this deguttered etc? Surely if there was issue they would have noticed this before? Didnt you have it reprayed too? Seems a lot of work after doing so much work on the car previously!

been pulling my hair out for months trying to get my car back, kept getting told it's the sprayer's fault, and there's trouble with the roof and other things.
the car has been off the road for well over a year now and it needed to be. rust was everywhere, it was touch and go whether to rebuild or scrap but I went for it, probably shouldn't but who uses there head where cars are involved.
anyway, been trying to ring the shop for days, no answer, so had a day off today took the wife to work and went down there..........only to find......... its closed and the liquidators were in emptying the place. so iv definitely lost the money I paid for the respray and to have the car put back together, and the car is missing.

That's terrible news mate

All the best with finding it, googling the company name may give you the directors names/addresses for you to try and locate your cars whereabouts? I guess they are most likely to know

I have now located the car, it still needs some work on the roof, but at least I know its safe.
the guy is going to finish it for me so hopefully this saga can eventually end.
had my fingers burned a bit but that's life.
more gutted the owner of the shop couldn't come clean with me, might have been able to sort some thing out between us, I always thought he was a decent guy.

mine wasn't beating at all this morning when I saw the empty shop.
not sure what im going to do about the money, I can just about cover the respray,
but then finding some where to store and rebuild it is going to be a problem.
