I've not seen those walnut door cappings before, are rare or have I been looking at metros with my eyes shut?

According to howmanyleft, there's only like 100 left on the roads - that'll be why, most likely a rare trim nowadays!

I can't Photoshop to save my life, however here's mine when I did them in Tahiti the first time (so you can get an idea of what it looks like) along with the stereo surround & Citroen AX centre console bucket. I also have a second clock surround (the bit with all the dials in) ready to be sprayed when it's a bit warmer. And once the big dash insert (in this photo) has dried out (I have resprayed it today, few bits of grit in the paint the first time) I have a white vinyl to go on it, as below (The Don't Fear Torque Steer one, the Rollin' one is on the smaller dash insert):

Hope this helps, a little bit anyway!
Alex.

Best photoshop on the planet!

Btw, they're held in with little nuts on the inside of the dash itself, the small one has two that you can get to by taking the fusebox cover off and reaching up with your fingers, the big one you need to take the glovebox out, it has three nuts and the right hand side one is an absolute c**k to get at.

*EDIT*

They should come off with your fingers only, shouldn't be on too tight!

The cappings & short door cards are from a GS or GSI model (can't recall which). Gotta say it, that is the CLEANEST interior I have ever seen! Really good example you have there (apart from the excess doors )

I know walnut trim is old man bling.. But I hate to see it get covered up - esspecialy when its in such good condition!

i found it a lot easier to just pull out the air vents and radio to get at the nuts, oooooh matron!

LOL Miller.

I couldn't be arsed with taking my vents & stereo out to get to it, mainly because I struggled to get my stereo to lock into place because of the slight lip in the stereo recess! Took me like half an hour to get it in properly.

Aren't they 5 door though, your car is 3dr? If I could spray my wood panels on them to look like that with the woos grains showing through I would do it!

If the door cards (bottom half fabric bit) in the scrappy car are like Picklepop's, just plain grey then I would be interested in them as I have a set of these door cappings in my shed and want to try them in the car.

Either start with a VERY pale wood, and stain and lacquer it...
or cheat and get it printed on vinyl and then wrapped!
