I have an issue with my indicators. Neither work and when i turn the hazards on the flasher relay just buzzes.

Ive tried a different hazard switch and also a different relay.

The relay was from an spi and was different to the one in my mpi so im not ruling out a faulty relay.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Found a split wire, green/red, on the wiring harness by the steering column. It was in contact with metal so moved it away.

The hazard work now and the relay no longer buzzes but still no indicators. Ive checked fuses.

Ive also tried a different stalk which didnt help.

So you have ruled out the lamps (all 6 plus dashboard lamps) as they work when Hazard flashers are on yes?

As I see it you only have 2 fuses to check (Fuse 9 and Fuse 21) and the Fusebox relay and then the Hazard Switch itself and the Stalk unit.

If its not one of these it is obviously a wiring issue - loose connection, shorted wire - whatever.

If you are sure it is not teh fuses or relays?/switches etc you need a wiring diagram to start tracing where power is getting lost. If you need one PM me and I will send a PDF.

Funnily enough Gary I found a thread you posted on a while back and followed your advice to check fuse 9.

I wasn't aware that fuse 9 was indicators and now its sorted.

MG, could you post a link of the diagram please? I'm having a similar issue with my headlights. My sideights work, but not my headlights or full beam. The wiring off the stalk seem fine, also the relay. I've changed the fuses a couple of times, but again, they keep blowing

Just wanna get my headlights sorted once and for all.
