Hi,
as above im looking for a hydragas pump, i am planning on lowering my metro buy chopping the rods, so i would need them pumping up after. would this be ok to pump them up to get me to the garage to do it properly?

If you only want to go as far as the garage to get it done properly...
why bother forking out the £55 in the first place?

Better off finding a member with a vacuum pump who can come to you!
Ask here or on the Facebook page, and you've got a decent chance of finding someone localish!

They are basic, not great to use and a pile of crap in my opinion

If you buy a central heating pressure tester, you can buy a hydrogas end from the states for around $30 posted and a suitable adapter to connect it to the pump for a few pounds and youll have a very useable, practical pump that will last

I agree with Cake Destroyer and would say that one on eBay is rubbish.

There is a list of members who can blow up a car here or on the Owners Club all over the country so just put your location and ask if someone will do it for you.
