My anti-rattle springs are badly corroded and one is missing a hook, unfortunately the new pads did not come with any replacements. Should I just fit them anyway or try and get some new ones?
Are these available separately from rover/motor factors?

TIA
Alex.

most metros dont have them so theres no problem with leaving them out.

ferrodo pads have an anti rattle type coating on the back of them so that woudl take over anyway,

but i say leave them off

mines never had any, and ive never had squeely brakes. just use a bit of copper grease on the back of the bads where they sit in the calliper.
