Im starting this thread because of all the bad feedback we read about dodgey sellers and items not turning up. We hear all about the things that never materialise and stories of people never getting their money back but we never hear any praise for the transactions that do go smoothly and for people that go above and beyond the service expected from them.

So I thought I'd start this so people can just put a little note whenever you are satisfied with how another member sells or buys something from MP. Admin, feel free to delete this if you think its not a great idea, I was thinking it might be nice to have it as a sticky at the top of the for sale section so you could read through and check on a sellers reputation before buying.

Heres mine to start this off:

I bought an exhaust off of Purple-Haze at the weekend and he drove all the way from Leeds to Jn22 on the M1 to meet me. Top bloke, mint 'tro too dude. Cheers!

Edd

Well,

Id like to thank Matt + Will (Atkin and ScaryToad) for taking 5 hours to fit my new downpipe Even though they nearly gave up - they did me proud, ill find out next week when i go for MOT if you did it good enough

And my Toby (114gta) for being a super boyfriend and changing my brake pads in the freezing cold, with a still broken wrist Supplying and fitting a new throttle body. And checking my car over for its MOT and voluntering to do any work it may need

Ali (Alileg69) for the past work hes attempted to do

Thanks all
atkin

Jonboy - Goods always as described and is happy to meet with parts

Salty - as above

Thats just recently as there's been so many people i've bought off and sold to on this forum (I've sold at least £13k's worth of cars through this forum and a fair few thousand buying and selling parts so has saved me hundreds in ebay fees)

Just to add - I've never had one single problem since joining in 2003

Controversially I'd like to thank (yes thank) ArronVVC for my Alloys which are now on the car.. no problems finding him & got 2 cups of tea (me & steph - each) always important
He threw in an airbag wheel (minus airbag & boss/wiring - but free) that he had lying around & also gave me a mirror handle I was missing.

Had to do that as based on a variety of other threads.. I doubt he'll get another praising in here. (If anyone has anything contrary to add - don't do it here PM instead.. bad replies will be deleted)

I would also like to thank

Salty - parts, fitting, hospitaly, accomodation (Salty & Rainey)

Adrian Si, fitting, hospitality

Matt Parker, parts, fitting, hospitality, video of the ghey dancing

Wayne (man on a mission), Hoses

JonBoy, Dials (pre-emptive )

Paulie, parts, hospitality

Andy Pandy, parts, hospitality, accomodation

Chris VVC...parts, even though he failed to offer me & my misses a cuppa!.. smooth sale

SteveB9, parts

Sorry if I forgot someone.. basically had no bad transactions

I'd like to appologise again for those people I did not get back to promptly re: parts. Also to those people that showed interest in mesh but I failed to follow up promptly.

Mesh is available if you still want some

Mutts.

Access_Denied - Gaz is a top bloke, bought quite a lot of bits from him, and he also offers help if I need it.

JonBoy - quality work, if you need an engine conversion quick, he is your man

Salty, AdrianSi and Sacha - always quick to send goods and always as described

edited to add - petrol_head (Rich) has been very helpful in the past, along with ralph85, two people I have relied on in the past for some hard to find bits
