A couple of the lads on this site done some photoshops of it for me in different colours cause i couldn't make my mind up at first but decided to stick with the Caribean Blue in the end as it's one of the nicest colours for tro's imo. The DAWG Posts: 2986 Location: Leicestershire | Put the Tro through an MOT today and it passed, few advisorys but nothing seroius. Will need two new front tyres shortly and the passenger rear arch is on it's way out (which i knew anyway) and the near and offside radius arm needs attention. Matt did the MOT and had a good poke and bang about with a hammer underneath and said that it's solid throughout so that was a relief, no welding needs doing. So once the re-sprays been done the shell should last a few years yet.

The DAWG Posts: 2986 Location: Leicestershire | Back seats came out today and strippped out the rest in the back ready for the new rear quater which is being welded on on Wednesday. Took out the front seats and carpet also to check the floor. To my suprise there has been no welding done and none needs doing, it was solid (DSCF1588.JPG) (DSCF1589.JPG) (DSCF1590.JPG) Attachments ---------------- DSCF1588.JPG (82KB - 148 downloads) DSCF1589.JPG (97KB - 141 downloads) DSCF1590.JPG (98KB - 152 downloads)

What's the best way to get the rubbing strips off without damaging them? Or will I need to try and source new ones?

Fish freak! MP Admin Posts: 14989 Location: Birmingham | if its gettin reprayed mate...id suggest heat gun (not too much tho as it will bend the strip) and fishing wire (which you'll have loads of im sure lol) and cut the sticky stuff off behind it
