Happy Weekend all!

So... a HUGE thank you is due to all of those who donated and raised £300 towards our project. We are currently awaiting the arrival of the prototype Stickers, Clothing range and Gerrard is in the process of building the new website. The donations are being used and we will notify all members to when everything becomes available/operational.

We are committed to improving metropower. We thank you for being patient and all our new community projects will be up and running soon!

For now, here is a teaser - (more teasers to come) of our clothing range! (not giving too much away, but they will be affordable and feature 3 different designs - on 2 different platforms, t-shirts and hoodies!

Great news about the archive. Was hoping that would be the case.

All the how-to guides have been put onto the new site, forum is built and store ready to take orders. Site is linked up with Facebook and Instagram to pull in new events, posts etc. from social media.

Also added a cars for sale section and will have galleries up once we get some new pics from Pride of Longbridge etc.

Did you see the preview images on Facebook around New Year?

It won't fade away, the plan is to keep it read-only as an archive and get the search working once I've moved it to its new home.

You will need to re-register on the new site, which will also cover any sticker orders etc from the upcoming online store.

Just been patching the new forum and cleaning up from the spammer, always gonna get them but the new software makes it easier to tidy up after

Content is nearly all across and it's more a case of preparing to get the original web address migrated over to point at the new site.

New site will take over this address, the forum is embedded within it so much more integrated. Facebook is separate but we pull the latest posts and events into the main site so you can see what's going on in one place.

Given the size of your average camera image these days I'm leaning towards using image hosting, Flickr seems the best choice. Otherwise the costs of hosting will rocket up and seems a waste of funds paying for what's available free elsewhere
