I think they only look good on white cars as its the perfect contrast, any other colour and it doesn't seam to work as well.

no, it just looks like youve smashed the std one and not had a chance to paint the new one. big power jap cars sometimes get away with it, but a metro wont.

Carbon bonnet is a good way to save weight. Not that a metro bonnet is that heavy.

Thing is as people are saying, everyone will assume its done to look like a japanese car, rather than for the right reasons. In which case you could spray it to match. I think it would look fine on a black metro though. Most people won't notice it.

Yes but only if you then get it sprayed to match the car... I have seen it done on a local escort and it doesnt look to bad on that with red and red carbon fibre.. but apparently its expensive..
