Location: leigh 		Apart from sitting there looking pretty what does the gti spoiler do.. it looks like it is pretty useless in terms or aerodynamics! They are a fair weight so if it's cosmetic only it's going!

I agree and think they are simply cosmetic and also become water traps etc.

I have one but doubt I would fit it.
