I'll have a guess and say you were doing something with the brake shoes? Perhaps changing them, adjusting them or changing the copper brake line or slave cylinder?

Soooooo then, the car has been its lightest since it left the factory.

Seats and Carpet have been stripped out, i am in the progress of installing I.C.E:

peeling back the carpet i feared for the worst, but i was so pleased to find no rust ANYWHERE on the floors.

So the car is currently 2 seats up with no carpet, im waiting for;
some more cables
sound proofing (silentcoat)
and some free time to put it all in.

Just spent like 20 minutes reading all the way through this. Great project.

For the front fogs/ spot lights, I think using the 25 switches like Gerrard has done is mint- with an actual button for the front fogs with the right icon. Check it out [about half way down page]:

Also, whilst replacing my downpipe i put on my front roll bar!

]
(yes i know its got rubber bushes aswell as poly bushes. i forgot to get 2 sets so sue me!!

also, redone my door bits black, as the white looked crap and frankly i didnt even do it properly first time round!

also, cant decided whether to do my spats white in matching with the paintwork so they stand out:

can anyone do me a photoshop on that pic of the spats white?

Ok!

After a very successful metro meet on the 20th of august.

here is a favourite shot of mine, but of course. OF MY CAR! lol

DSC_0767 by MetroMorey, on Flickr

ANYWAY! i did get round to lowering my car and here are a few pics of the journey of swear words. I HAVE YET to get a picture of how it sits at the moment, as it needs some adjusting, because its nose diving!

So next few days ill upload a finnished picture!

Thanks for all the comments guys.

BIG CHANGE. digging up this post from 4 pages back makes me think that i havent touched the car in a while.
Truth is that i have had to re-seal the suspension and also sort out other mechanical issues for the MOT end of this month.

-blowing exhaust
-leaking hydragas
-tracking
-leaking break cylinder

anywho here is what i have sneakly done:

DSCF5969 by MetroMorey, on Flickr

So then my question is now, remove side rubbing strips and paint spats white? also make the spoiler tip white?
