went to my motor factors 2 night to get some detailing goodies, and started to look at some waxes...i already have meguiars next gen 2.0 (think it called that) and i think the results are ok ...i heard a young lad behind the counter whos a detailing freak go on about the new autoglym hi def wax ....blar blar in all respect its a ok wax but the new hd wax aint shit on it...it beeds like crazy...

is it as good as the reviews say or is there something better for the same amount of money?

Ive not used it personally but its meant to be ok.

I use Dodo Juice through the summer (as it looks good) and Collinite through winter (as its durable). Dodo is around the same price (or you could get a sample pot which is about £6 and will do the car a good few times over) and Collinite is around £15.

I prefer the soft waxes myself so Light Fantastic or Purple Haze (I have LF on the ZR and PH on the GTa)

I know they are optimised for colours but i think you could get away with either, personally id go Purple Haze

Hd wax imo is brilliant esp when the paint is prepared properly first its durability is fantastic ...put mine on a few months ago and it still makes me smile when it rains
