I've got the 1.8vvc up and running in my metro at the moment. . I'm looking to convert it to 1.8t relatively soon.. I have a engine but need a loom and ecu. Who is the best person to see for a loom? And what else will I need? The plumbing looks a right mess too! Has anyone got a photo of how the pipes go? Tia

adriansi on here will do you a good loom conversion. Have a flick through my journal or my cousin's may have more detail pictures (my car susan 1.4 turbo)
They plumb up the same as any other k series except a water pipe to feed the turbo. PRT stat is recommended on the turbo too. l tried to run the standard stat and it didnt like it for some reason

I think it has a prt it's all at the front the engine and the thermostat housing is just a pipe instead. Quick spider did my loom fir my vvc after I had trouble with mine being lost in the post along with my refund which was promised (not mentioning names) the turbo is running a r65 gearbox and I would want to get rid of that! Is there any was of using the ib5 from the later mg? They are cheap and strong and the rs turbo lsd fits them!
