No it should be fine...the pressure regulator should sort that out...Just trying to think where the regulator is on the spi tho

Yes there is one, it's inside the manifold, right next to the injector. You can see it when you remove the airfilter.

On the outside it's exacly where the two fuel hoses enter the manifold.
