My rear drivers side wheel seems to have a lot of negative camber on it

ive jacked the car up and tried moving the wheel to see if its the radius arm but there is no movment there, the only movment was from the rear subframe

could the camber be due to the rear subframe mounts being shot? or is it something else?

does anyone sell uprated rear subframe mounts?

cheers
Tony

Im not sure if they can be uprated mountings can be bought, but i know a few people substitute the rubber part for aluminium...i wouldnt advice this on a road car though.

Also i wouldnt keep driving with the knackered mounting as there really isnt alot holding the subframe in place

I had the same on both sides, if it's a gti with the arb I found that this made the radius arm shaft play hard to see, disconnecting the arb freed up the radius arm and the wear could be easily seen.

Yeah ditto, its really hard to see play in the radius arms by moving around by hand, use a lever to lift the wheel up or twist it about, make sure the car is on stands though if its on the sissor jack then you wont be able to move it about enough to see.

Yep...also de-gassing the system helps, have seen some shocking arms with no pressure in the system
