Hi I have an issue my tro needs a new rad.I can get a replacement for about 80 quid but I can get an mgf one cheaper I know it requires moding to fit the question is will it over cool a 1.1 and if so will this cause any issues

Im interested in this as the water temp sensor is in the metro radiator (or at least it is in my carb tro) which seems to push the price of the rads up. I dont see why you should pay £80 for a metro radiator when you can get a big mgf radiator for £35.

So with a mgf rad and a standard metro engine where would you put the water temp sensor.
