Location: Stourbridge, West Midlands | Thought I should say hello, been lurking about on here for the last couple of weeks.
Had Minis for years but always liked the Metro.
Used to own this Tro about a year ago and regretted selling it ever since;
So.... I had the opportunity to get hold of another through work, I collect it Saturday and here it is;
It will stay as it is for now but I have a 1310 in the garage at home so I'm not sure how long I can resist putting that in. |

Location: Stourbridge, West Midlands | The plan (and it is still only a plan) is 1310 turbo (small T2 running approx. 12PSI), stripped out and caged, I've got a set of 13x7 Mambas in the garage for it too.
Would love it to be a sleeper but I would like to make it as light as possible. Polycarb windows, lose the winders, strip it out etc.
Found a cage for it already so that's easy enough. Won't be doing anything that I can't undo because it is such a nice low miler!
Only thing I was wondering is whether to just go with the engine in this and try to lose weight without too much modification and then buy a separate track car. |
