New user Posts: 2 Location: Doncaster | Hi there. Love the site…. So I live in the Doncaster area (Sth Yorkshire, UK) and my little beast is a red P reg metro. So far I’ve done the normal stuff like kitting out the interior, adding back speakers and the most important - the ciggie lighter. I’ve also put colour coded bumpers on. To say I know crap all about cars I think im doing ok (helps that im a quick study) Anyways… now I wanna do all the exterior stuff. And possibly put a bigger engine in. But like all master plans I’ve hit a snag…… where does one go to get her mitts on stuff? Its like running into a brick wall plastered with idjits that keep saying "get a corsa"… Is that normal or am I just getting paranoid? Cheers T If at first you don’t succeed…… CHEAT!!!

Don't take offence, I'm only having a joke! Posts: 2224 Location: Sheffield | Where are you in Sheffield? You've not got that blue and gold thing have you Welcome to the site LMM, unfortunately there aren't many places that have parts on the shelf in terms of modding Metro's/100's, but a quick search through the forum will bring up some info, and guys that fit stuff aswell. you can do quite alot on metro's, thanks to the engines being common accross the Rover range, so you can go upto a 1800 VVC, or 1800 turbo if you wish. There is lots you can do, if you want anymore info just ask and no doubt you'll get loads of replies (prolly mainly cos your female!) Rich
