| My 1993 1.1 has a carb but also has the vacuum thermal switch in the black pipe between the carb and the dizzy and charcoal cannister. Haynes says that this setup is common to cars with cats but mine does not have one and the hole where there would be a lambda sensor in an injection model.
I,m not convinced that this system is working. Has anyone done away with the switch arrangement and connected the vacuum takeoff directly to the dizzy and cannister? And also that red/yellow pipe arrangement to do with the air intake? | |
