hi, been working on this over Christmas, its a reliant kitten (4 wheeled version of the 3 wheeler)

plan is to build a drift car (might not work out like that though but ah well)

engine that is going in is a aprilia rsv mille 1000 it'll be running reliant rear axle with welded diff and a custom prop

Sure is, yup £26 brand new from kode-performance and the reliant handbrake lever bolted to it for the gearchanger but non the less the quality of it is great

Nice, as always.

How high does that engine rev?

10.5k, it's only 125bhp and something like 70 torque but the cars 500kg

Only opted for this engine because of the sound they make, nice v2 sound

not a lot more done, half made a propshaft adapter, made from 10mm steel and chopped the prop up ready for welding, heatwraped the exhaust and made the clutch from a motorbike master cylinder

more done to the kitten, prop is now done! at last, the adapter I made was wonky so I had my mate build one...what was also wonky so we just welded the thing together

bodys back on, wiring is kinda done, just needs the body loom connecting to the bike loom...but I drove it!!!! out the unit and back in and loved it! clutch feels nice and springy so should get some nice 1/4 starts only problem was the gearlever wasn't man enough so a little bit of 5mm plate sorted that

tomorrow ill attempt to plumb the brakes up and finish the wiring then go find a roundabout

today I tided the loose wires up and finished plumbing in the brakes, also welded a cage around the prop tunnel just incase the prop decides to fall off

managed to get a quick drive in it, only was able to take it upto 3rd but felt pretty mental =P

made a adapter for the air box today, also the clutch slave cylinder has a crack in it and the gearlinkage is naff so ordered parts to replace the both
also had to fit a bigger rad as the reliant one was blocked so fitted the rad off my old kit car on, works a treat

Why dont you fit a pair of ram pipes on top of the carb, then fit a bigger air box, it'll improve
torque for free?.

ill give the cage a paint up before it goes in though

cage is all in now, bit of a pain as I had to shorten the front section about 50mm to fit in, original seat belts don't fit so ill have to get some harnesses and remount the seats

sprag clutch still needs fixing

neatened the switches and dash up today, and made the anti-tramp bars yesterday (finished in kingfisher blue so should add another 10bhp)

Ditch the leaf springs and 6-link the back end!!
Will find it behaves much better, and plenty of adjustment to get it spot on!

Saw a Kitten out on the road the other day, fairly certain it was the first time!?
Very faded dark red R-reg...
instantly thought of this mad one and smiled!!

What is the body and chassis alignment like on it? (Or what WAS it like?!!) I had a Scimitar SE6a that was shocking!!
Another section of body laid up in the molds to lift the front corner where body was twisted...
shims behind wishbones to put them in the right place... done from new at the factory too, not a bodge after repairs!!
It wasn't subtle... but I bought it like this!

I know, I wrote my bmw saloon off into one.

Really annoys me as used to love Lydden before they put the rhino walls out, now it sucks because the best corner to throw big entries into is devils, so yeah, lets put 3 pissing rhino walls as close to the edge of the track as possible to really ruin your day.

Glad it went well, videos it sounded good.

now find me an rsv mille engine for my MG Midget, thanks!

An Rsv engine would be a great fit in the midget...do it
