I am in the process of building my mk1 metro vvc ive got the mg tf subframe in place and before i start welding up the new mounts and front legs i want to get everything mocked up so am looking for advice on which 4-2-1 manifold to order i want to get the one which hugs the block the closest.the engine will be about 190 bhp

I'd just use an mgzr 160 mani + downpipe and modify the downpipe. Mine hugs the block nicely and have no issues with speedbumps ect, that's with the 160 cat welded in as well. If you deburr the ports and reweld the outsides Itl flow just as well as a janspeed item at a fraction of the price.
