hi all just thought id put a few pics up of my recently adopted rover 100.
Sadly its a 5 door but thought id make the best of it well i think so anyway,
it now has the 1.8vvc engine from an mgf and im in the middle of smoothing and generally sorting the bodywork out, it has decent grooved discs and pads from mgf and im going to fit the mgf alloy wheels aswell along with sorting the suspension out in the near future, but for now its endless evenings in the garage sanding filling sanding filling boooring then the exciting bit of painting.
The bonnet iv painted to give me an idea of colour. Anyway see what you think feel free to give opinions etc!!

before you go any further, what are you doing with the rear, mgf wheels will fit the front with alot of arch work as you have done but the back will leave you crying when you realise the radius arms are the defining factor of the wheel and tyre size on a metro, just have a look at the tyre to radius arm clearance issues before widening the rear arches

alot shaved off with standard mgf tyres,165 & 175/50/15 are what I have looked at in the past for tyre choice but I am on with mods that will allow 195 50 15 on mine

av got some old pics of my rwd project car that had mgf wheels on, am using a narrowed mgtf rear subframe to get round the clearance issues on the rear, it also gives me alot of adjustablity on the rear end to get a nice balance with the handling, I am going to buy some mike satur pcd adapters for my latest project and will most prbably be running 16" hairpins from a zr possibly with the rear box arched, the rear subframe is also preperation for a future 4wd conversion.

Some more pics as im now finally getting somewhere with the tro. Let me no what your thoughts are on my homemade splitter?? i like it anyway, just got to put some mesh in the bumper then ill be happy with the front well apart from the wiper and bit more paint.
Next on the list is the custom spacers for the back then the rear wheels can go on. Hoping to get it ready for an mot in august sometime.
We shall see.

5 door rover 100s dont look that bad, I really like mine.

Riding on MGF 6 spoke 15" rims with 195/45/15 tyres

Also running a pair of 5mm ali spacers on the rear, bought off Ralph

Hi all I've decided it's time to put my tro up for sale as it's just sat there not moving. It's a project as you can see and needs quite a few things finishing off, the car does run and run well but battery is now flat and just don't have the time anymore to sort it out. It has the 1.8 vvc engine from an mgf. I'm open to offers on it as it is. More pics to follow
