So done all the usual. Eventually changed iacv, worked ok for around 2 weeks now back to silliness. I'm thinking ecu, what's others views ?

I suppose you are talking about a high idle?
If so, have you checked the coolant temp sensor and adjusted throttle pot?

When it's hot it will occasionally stall then when trying to restart it will become flooded. There's never really a time that it idles unduly high although at rest after starting and up to temp it takes a while to drop it's revs but I've put this down to the fact that it's a bit cold.
